Olena is a Senior Associate specialising in residential property litigation work. Olena has significant experience advising lenders in relation to long lease forfeiture matters, having previously acted for landlords and managing agents.  She has dealt with litigated forfeiture cases ranging from non-payment breaches to more complex breach of covenant cases including unauthorised alterations, breach of repairing obligations and unlawful subletting. She also acts for the Firm’s clients in respect of possession claims relating to the termination of shared ownership leases.

Olena has advised Local Authority and ALMO clients defending housing disrepair claims, including best practice for internal repair policies/procedures and claim handling. She also has experience dealing with possession claims based on anti-social behaviour and also claims against trespassers, along with injunction applications and applications to the Property Tribunal.
