Felicity is a Senior Associate in the Planning & Environment team, with seven years of experience as a specialist Planning solicitor. She acts for a range of developers, including Caddick and Taylor Wimpey, housebuilders, registered providers, public bodies and utility companies on a range of development schemes, including large mixed-use schemes, housing developments, energy and infrastructure work.

Felicity’s contentious work includes bringing and defending Judicial Review claims, planning and highways enforcement matters in the Magistrates’ Court and CPO compensation claims at the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber). On the non-contentious side, she has significant experience in negotiating s106 agreements and highways agreements.

She has provided planning advice for Caddick, Yodel, the McColl Group and the Royal Mail Group in relation to planning permissions for warehouse and logistics facilities. Felicity has recently assisted Harworth on the Parkside East DCO.

Experience

Providing strategic advice on the Port of Heysham: advised on the Port’s 14 acres of operational land including, representation at a Local Plan inquiry and applications for Certificates of Lawful Use to enable the Port’s £10mil upgrade to operational RoRO use, warehousing and storage.

Advising on planning and highways for a new distribution centre at Brighton.

Yorke Drive CPO: promotion of a CPO for a £4.5mil. regeneration scheme for the demolition of 130 existing properties on the derelict estate and the erection of 207 new private and social homes with enhanced playing field, £1.5mil sports pavilion, energy efficient homes with EV parking spaces and green spaces.

Harlow and Gilston Garden Town (HGGT): Defended two Judicial Review claims for the HGGT scheme river crossings that will deliver 10,000 new homes and a Sustainable Transport Corridor.
