Eleanor Hunt joined Walker Morris as a trainee solicitor in September 2021 and is now an Associate in the Intellectual Property team. Her work covers both contentious and non-contentious matters involving clients across a variety of sectors including sports, retail and food.

Eleanor makes every effort to get to know each client’s business and understand how they operate which enables her to provide them with practical and tailored advice.

Eleanor enjoys the challenge of navigating what can often be a complex and technical area of law. She draws great satisfaction from being able to assist clients in protecting their brands.

Eleanor enjoys working in a team. She’s keen to continue learning and developing her skill set. Eleanor takes pride in her work and is committed to achieving the best result for her clients, whatever this may look like. She’s driven and takes an enthusiastic approach to her work.

When dealing with clients’ intellectual property queries, Eleanor always tries to give thought to the bigger picture including the impact of any action on a client’s reputation as well as the overall business. She is constantly working to improve her knowledge of the law.

Eleanor has previously acted as a graduate mentor and assists with delivering advice to local businesses and individuals through a pro-bono clinic at the Business and IP Centre which is based in Leeds library.
