Robert Moore - Director, Planning & Environment at Walker Morris LLP.

Robert is a Director in the Planning & Environment Group and has been involved in a broad range of planning instructions from low key applications to 1 million square foot retail developments. Over the years, he has been involved in numerous planning inquiries, including several for major retailers as well as national housebuilders. Such involvement has encompassed team co-ordination; review and preparation of evidence and acting at the Inquiry itself. He regularly deals with legal agreements such as section 106 planning obligations and section 278 highways agreements. Recent inquiry success includes acting on an appeal for a 400 unit housing scheme; a new out of centre supermarket led mixed use scheme; and an airport parking facility expansion proposal.

Robert is also a member of the Law Society’s Accredited Planning Panel.

In their words

"No day is the same. The range of work and instructions we receive is far ranging. Even when it's another appeal for a national housebuilder; you can be sure that there will be a whole raft of new and specific issues to be dealt with, even when the key principles may in theory be the same. Working with experienced developers who know their game and the world of planning well; to very specialised expert witnesses (e.g. Bridge Hydraulic Engineering; Highway Macro Modelling Simulation), is challenging, very interesting and rarely makes for a dull moment."
