Employment & Immigration

“Working as a team with my clients to achieve outcomes that deliver their commercial objectives is my primary aim”.

Shabana is a Director in our Employment & Immigration Team with over 15 years’ experience. Her work focuses on business immigration and as Head of the firm’s Business Immigration practice, she helps employers with the complex process of hiring talent from outside the UK and general compliance with UK immigration legislation.

Helping companies to bring workers into the UK from overseas to fill skills gaps, meet operational demands, or simply grow their businesses is the most rewarding part of her role, and Shabana describes her approach to client work as collaborative: “I aim to work with clients to get the results they need, and hope they see me as an extension of their team”.

“I endeavour to make my clients feel they can rely on me to deliver the best results for their business”

Shabana is very organised, and able to convey complex immigration rules and processes in an accessible and easy to follow way.  This helps when it comes to managing client expectations around certain aspects of the immigration process and she always ensures that businesses can set achievable and realistic targets.

As a Director – responsible for her own clients and matters, Shabana knows that collaboration with the client and striving for a successful outcome in the most efficient way possible is vital. She says, “it’s imperative that I’m able to manage my matters effectively. I always endeavour to make my clients feel they can rely on me to deliver the best results for their business”.

Shabana has presented numerous seminars and webinars on Business Immigration and international remote working related topics.  Shabana has also lectured on the undergraduate LLB and postgraduate LPC courses at BPP Law School.

“I would also like to thank you for your help, this all would have been impossible without you. For sure it was a team effort but totally unachievable without your expertise (and patience).”
