Defence

From shifting threat landscapes to complex procurement and stringent security obligations, we help defence organisations manage risk, protect capability and move with confidence through a highly regulated environment.

Operating in the defence sector, we know that your challenges span from responding to evolving threats, ensuring compliance and managing complex procurement cycles across global supply chains.

As you balance your needs with regulatory and contractual complexities, the legal landscape can quickly become a barrier to progress. Our defence specialists work alongside you to anticipate risk, align your governance with national security requirements and create commercial structures to provide clarity and compliance.

Experience

Advised a defence-sector producer of hose assembly products on its acquisition of a leading UK designer and manufacturer of engineered elastomeric and polymer products for demanding naval applications. The deal brought decades of expertise into the client's portfolio, strengthening their position in the global defence and industrial market.

Advising Darktrace, a global leader in AI-powered cybersecurity, on their acquisition of Cado Security, a UK-based provider of cloud investigation and response solutions. This enhanced its capabilities in multi-cloud and hybrid environments by integrating Cado’s forensic technology within the Darktrace ActiveAI Security Platform. The deal will strengthen Darktrace’s AI-driven incident investigation, and expand its R&D footprint in the UK.

Advising Quantum-Systems GmbH, Germany’s leading aerial intelligence unicorn, on its acquisition of Quantum Drones Ltd (formerly Nordic Unmanned UK). This transaction marked a significant step in Quantum Systems’ long-term commitment to the UK market, directly supporting the UK Ministry of Defence’s call for greater autonomy and uncrewed systems under its "20-40-40" strategy.
