Olivia is a Director in our Restructuring & Insolvency Team and she deals with all aspects of contentious and non-contentious corporate and personal insolvency work.  Her typical clients are insolvency practitioners, lenders, directors, and overseas investment funds.

Olivia focuses on work with companies in the financial services and regulated sector, with a particular focus on FCA regulated businesses.  She also covers cross border advisory and international recovery for overseas financial institutions and investment funds and all aspects of corporate insolvency work acting for office holders and directors.

Olivia loves the variety that her work provides, with every day and every business different – each with their own set of unique problems to solve. “Going into what seems to be a dire situation and delivering a return for clients and stakeholders can be really rewarding”.

Focussed on practical solutions

Describing her approach to work as responsive and interested, Olivia is always aiming to quickly identify and deal with issues, finding practical solutions for her clients.

Finding solutions to her client’s problems and putting a strategy in place to achieve them are some of Olivia’s key strengths and although she acknowledges that it can be tough when undertaking complex matters in short timeframes, achieving the results you were aiming for makes it all worthwhile.

Olivia enjoys being part of the Walker Morris team, especially being able to react quickly to the needs of clients, working collaboratively and being able to draw on the high level of technical expertise that specialists from across the firm are able to provide.

Olivia is an active member of the Associate of Business Recovery Professionals (R3). She will be taking over as Chair of the R3 Yorkshire Region in 2023.
