Straightforward, strategic advice

Sarah is a Director in our Intellectual Property Team and represents local, national and international clients in all aspects of trade mark law.  Sarah describes her work as “all things trade-mark related” which involves the clearance, protection and enforcement of brands.

With a focus on IP trade marks, copyright and designs, Sarah works for a wide range of clients in a variety of sectors, including the food and drinks industry, retail, fashion and engineering.  Her clients are often well-known brands.

“I love seeing our brands out and about, on supermarket shelves, the high street and on the internet” she says, noting that “I think clients like our straightforward and strategic advice” and she always takes a proactive approach.  “I’m not into bombarding our clients with a lot of unnecessary knowledge – I know they would rather we get straight to the point, taking a clear and concise approach”. Sarah prefers to visit her clients, get to know their brands and then she can really start to understand what’s important to them.

Describing herself as approachable and relaxed, Sarah says, “I love building relationships with my clients”. This fits in well with life at Walker Morris where Sarah points out that “everyone works as a team and we all have the same style with regards to our clients – we all provide straightforward advice in a friendly manner”.
