With two decades of experience and as a Partner in the Banking & Finance team, James acts for financial services institutions, specialising in wholesale, SPV funding and loan sale arrangements. He leads the firm’s alternative lending practice, with expertise in wholesale and speciality funding, and regularly acts for lenders and borrowers on complex, cross-border transactions.
James’ has also advised major clearing banks and a broad range of corporate clients across acquisition finance, real estate finance and general corporate lending matters, helping them navigate high-value and strategically important deals. His strengths lie in his ability to quickly understand client priorities, cut through complexity, and drive transactions forward with efficiency and focus.
