Laura is a Partner in our Banking & Finance Group, known for her work on transactional finance deals.

Acting mainly for corporate borrowers, Laura works on an array of debt finance deals, including acquisition or leveraged finance, real estate investment and development funding, refinancing and general corporate borrowing.

When asked to describe her approach to client work, Laura says, “I always act with enthusiasm. I like to deliver a first-class service to clients”.  For Laura, this means making time for her clients and building really strong relationships.

Delivering transactions on time is the most rewarding part of the job, and although managing the demands of lots of different clients at the same time can be challenging, the relationship element of her work is really important to Laura. “I find it easy to build relationships and maintain them and I think this is so important when you work with someone regularly”.

Laura credits her organisation skills with making it possible to manage large scale transactions and prides herself on responding to clients quickly and efficiently.

Laura trained at Walker Morris and has been with the firm for almost 12 years. She discovered her love of transactional work during her training contract, and has never looked back.

When she’s not being a lawyer, Laura owns an Italian Restaurant – so she understands first-hand the challenges and intricacies of running a small business.
