Lee advises, negotiates and prepares commercial contracts in support of the Firm’s national and international clients’ business critical and strategic trading activities and key commercial trading relationships.
In addition to advising across the full panoply of commercial arrangements for his clients (including long term supply agreements, procurement programmes, collaboration and joint venture agreements), Lee has significant expertise and experience advising on arrangements within two specific areas.
The first of such areas is advising clients in the food, retail and engineering sectors on the structuring, management and documentation for their agreements with third party logistics providers. His experience in this area includes acting for an international manufacturer on the restructuring of their UK wide warehousing and transportation arrangements and advising one of the UK’s largest on winding down its internal warehousing and logistics operation and the transition to a 3PL arrangements with one of the world’s largest logistics operators.
The second area in which Lee has built a reputation for delivering strategic advice and support is advising clients operating in the financial services sector on the white labelling of insurance products and services, and the appointment by large banking institutions of his clients as third party providers of regulated advice and services to the bank’s customers. Lee has a detailed understanding of the regulatory regime within which such products and services are offered and an appreciation of the key commercial risks and rewards to the counterparties of arrangements for the delivery of products and services regulated by the FCA.
In their words
“You can only deliver technically accurate and commercially savvy advice to your client if you invest in the client relationship and you are truly passionate about their success. The rewarding part for me is making that investment, seeing that success and being their trusted, valued and respected advisor along the ride".
