Walker Morris has advised United Safety & Survivability Corporation (“United Safety”) on its strategic partnership and recapitalisation with Reacton Fire Suppression (“Reacton”), creating a global platform in mobile fire suppression technologies.
The partnership brings together two established fire suppression technology businesses serving sectors such as mining, heavy machinery, defence, transportation and critical infrastructure. Reacton, headquartered in the UK with operations in the US and UAE, has grown into a recognised provider of engineered fire suppression systems under its Reacton and Fireward brands.
Reacton’s technology and product capabilities will benefit from United Safety’s international manufacturing footprint and scale, enhancing the combined group’s ability to support OEMs and fleet operators globally. Both the Reacton and Fireward brands will continue to operate as usual, supported by expanded resources and investment.
Partner and Head of Corporate, Richard Naish, led the Walker Morris team with support from Marianne McKeown (Senior Associate, Corporate), Matt Gale (Senior Associate, Corporate), Ndjodi Ndeunyema (Associate, Corporate), Nicola Parkinson (Partner, Tax), Hannah Salter (Associate, Tax), Georgia Cowen (Senior Associate, Employment) and Josh Waddington (Senior Associate, Banking & Finance).
The Walker Morris team worked alongside and coordinated other established legal advisers to United Safety in the UAE, US and Australia.
Commenting on the transaction, Richard Naish said: “We’re pleased to have supported United Safety on this significant partnership. The combined organisation will be well placed to accelerate innovation, expand global reach and continue delivering high‑integrity fire suppression solutions across mission‑critical environments.”
