Jeremy has 30 years experience of complex real estate work and is recognised for his in depth knowledge of the intricacies of high value real estate transactions and property financings. Recent matters on which Jeremy has advised include:

  • GIC – providing real estate advice to GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, on a joint venture with Kennedy Wilson to acquire and manage urban logistics properties in the UK. The joint venture will be seeded with a $200m portfolio comprising 18 urban logistics assets in the UK
  • Hospital Topco – providing real estate advice to Hospital Topco on the £1.5 billion disposal of BMI Healthcare and the GHG Group
  • Debenhams – providing real estate advice to the administrators of Debenhams, one of the first light touch administrations and probably the most significant property realignment in British retailing history
  • GIC – providing UK real estate advice to GIC on the $1 billion acquisition of Equinix Inc’s pan European hyperscale data centre business
  • Wembley Central – acting on the purchase from St Modwen Group and subsequent funding of Wembley Central comprising a 118,000 square foot shopping centre and an 86 bed Travelodge
  • A Canadian investor – advising on the purchase and funding of The Cube, Birmingham
  • Bupa – providing real estate advice to Bupa on the sale of part of its UK care home business to HC – One
  • Odeon – providing real estate advice on the sale of Odeon for £921m, the largest U.K. post Brexit deal in 2016
  • a US hedge fund – acting on an acquisition of a loan with a par value of £400m secured on a portfolio of nursing homes
  • major care home provider – providing real estate advice on a £450m funding of a portfolio of care facilities
  • Caterpillar Inc. – advising on the real estate aspects of the sale of a 65 per cent. stake in its third party logistic business to Platinum Equity, a US private equity house, in a deal worth $750m
  • TGI Fridays – real estate advice on the sale of its entire UK business
  • a major UK property company – providing advice on its £266m refinancing of a portfolio of properties
  • a joint venture vehicle – advising on its acquisition of a loan with a par value of £104m secured against a portfolio of commercial and development properties.
