Walker Morris shortlisted in International Employment Lawyer Awards

Recognised in two categories: ‘Global Mobility Firm of the Year’ and ‘Diversity and Inclusion Programme of the Year’.

The Global Mobility Firm of the Year category recognises our Employment & Immigration team for delivering outstanding global mobility advice and delivery for employers, including cross-border assignment strategy, immigration compliance, tax and social security support, policy design and practical client-facing solutions that reduce risk and drive mobility success.

The Diversity and Inclusion Programme of the Year award recognises law firms with programmes that promote a more diverse, equitable and inclusive legal workplace. The award is given to initiatives that focus on areas like career progression for underrepresented groups, pay equity, flexible work policies and inclusive culture.

Our entry highlights targeted interventions to improve progression, transparency in pay and rewards, and policies that support flexible and hybrid working while embedding inclusion into everyday working practices.

The annual IEL Awards celebrates the very best private practice and in-house teams from around the globe. The international awards ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding achievements of leading lawyers across various categories during the past 12 months. Each firm and practice has been carefully evaluated by IEL’s editorial team, which has scrutinised their collective and individual achievements from the last 12 months.

Commenting on the awards, Lucy Gordon, Partner in our Employment & Immigration team, said: “Being shortlisted in both Global Mobility Firm of the Year and Diversity and Inclusion Programme of the Year is a strong endorsement of the practical, people-focused work our teams have delivered over the past 12 months.

“These nominations reflect our commitment to helping clients navigate complex mobility challenges while building a workplace where everyone can progress and thrive.”

The awards will take place at the Savoy Hotel, London, on Wednesday, 19 November.
