Matthew Lingard named ‘Rising Star’ by Managing IP

Matthew Lingard, Director in Walker Morris’s Intellectual Property, Trade Marks & Designs team, has been named as a Rising Star by Managing IP Stars guide 2025.
The Rising Stars list recognises outstanding up-and-coming intellectual property practitioners in private practice who have made notable contributions to their firms and clients.
Managing IP launched the Rising Stars publication in 2018. The special publication is produced by the IP STARS research team and highlights promising, early-career private practice practitioners whose work has contributed significantly to the success of their firms and clients.
The 2025 Rising Stars list is derived from information gathered during the IP STARS rankings and Managing IP Awards research period (September 2024 — February 2025).
Matthew is an intellectual property lawyer specialising in trade marks and brand protection. He advises clients across multiple sectors on trade mark strategy, clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management, focusing on solutions that align with commercial objectives and growth plans.
