Walker Morris advises VIEW Group on acquisition of Cottons Group

A Walker Morris’ Corporate team, led by Michael O’Halloran, has advised VIEW Group on its acquisition of Cottons Group, a leading UK accountancy and advisory firm.
The transaction marks a considerable step in VIEW Group’s strategic expansion into the UK market, strengthening its position as a leading mid-tier accounting firm.
Cottons Group, which operates across seven offices and employs approximately 120 people, boasts a strong regional presence.
The acquisition will enable VIEW Group to enhance its service offering and accelerate growth in the UK, building on its technology-driven approach to accounting and advisory services.
Michael O’Halloran was supported by Jamie Guy (Senior Associate), Anna Musk (Associate), Josh Grier (Trainee) and Solomiia Merza (Paralegal).
Working closely with the VIEW Group’s M&A team, led by Morten Bratlie and Vegard Nerhus, and other stakeholders, the WM team played a crucial role in delivering a smooth and efficient transaction.
