Walker Morris has advised Moorgarth Group Limited and ARGO Real Estate on the sale of two Leeds city centre office buildings, Central House and 13-14 Park Place, to Yorkshire property development and investment company Wykeland Group.
The acquisition expands Wykeland’s growing Leeds portfolio and strengthens its presence within the city’s business and professional services district.
Located in the heart of Leeds city centre, Central House and 13-14 Park Place provide almost 16,000 sq ft of office accommodation. Central House comprises approximately 10,000 sq ft of office space over five storeys, while 13-14 Park Place provides 5,858 sq ft across four storeys within a Grade II listed Georgian building.
Wykeland acquired the properties from asset management and capital investment company Moorgarth Group Limited, with ARGO Real Estate and Walker Morris advising on the disposal.
The Walker Morris Real Estate team advising on the transaction was led by Partner Daniel Glowacz, with support from Bryony Cusworth (Senior Associate) and the Banking & Finance team; Laura Lister (Partner) and Cameron Mairs (Associate).
Commenting on the transaction, Daniel Glowacz said: “We’re pleased to have supported Moorgarth and ARGO Real Estate on the successful sale of Central House and 13-14 Park Place. These are well-located assets in the heart of Leeds. The transaction reflects continued investor demand for high-quality city centre properties in Leeds.
“It was a pleasure to work alongside Moorgarth and ARGO Real Estate and the wider adviser team to help bring the transaction to a successful conclusion.”
