Leading influential figures from the food and drink sector attended a discussion and dinner at Bowcliffe Hall, Wetherby, on the challenges and opportunities faced by the fast moving consumer goods sector (FMCG).
Walker Morris, Lloyds Banking Group and Investec jointly hosted the dinner last night for over 30 leading figures in the industry, which was opened by a presentation from Investec’s Consumer Research Analyst, Nicola Mallard.
Nicola has over 25 years’ experience researching FMCG companies of all sizes with in depth knowledge of the consumer space and financial modelling. She presented some of the key issues that food and drink manufacturers need to consider to stay ahead in this dynamic sector including how investors value companies in the sector and the ‘mega trends’ affecting the industry.
