Employee benefits

Maintaining and supporting the wellbeing of our people is one of our key priorities. Our people are central to our success – in return, we provide a package which enables everyone’s continued success.

We want you to revel in your work, to thrive and be proud of your accomplishments. We provide the right support and tools to enable you to do so. It’s just one of the ways that we invest in your wellbeing.

We trust you to deliver, wherever you are. This is why we encourage hybrid and flexible working.

Regular initiatives are available to support and develop your emotional, financial, physical and social wellbeing. Our comprehensive range of wellbeing resources provides wraparound care which supports our people when they need it most. This includes access to a 24/7 confidential helpline, remote GP and physiotherapy appointments, mental health first aiders and a range of life, money and wellbeing resources.

When it comes to colleague wellbeing, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Our people are unique and that can mean that the support that works for some, may not work for you. We will support you through the bad times, working with you to devise a support package tailored to your circumstances.

Benefits

We believe in offering a rounded benefit offering.  This isn’t an exhaustive list, but benefits include:

Annual leave – minimum of 25 days holiday per year, increasing to 31 days with length of service.  Also – buy/sell holidays up to 5 days per year.

Sabbatical scheme – for solicitors, accrue up to 2 weeks’ sabbatical over a period of 2 years, or 4 weeks’ sabbatical over 3 years, add some annual leave, and this gives you a large amount of time off, paid, to re-charge your batteries.

Bonus scheme – our annual bonus scheme recognises outstanding contributions to the firm and our ambitions.  All colleagues are eligible subject to meeting the criteria of the scheme.

Introduction scheme – we’re always on the search for new talent. If you introduce us to a candidate that is successfully appointed to one of our vacancies then we’ll reward you with a bonus.

Pension – saving for retirement? Let us do the hard work for you. We auto-enrol all eligible colleagues in to a workplace pension and we contribute a minimum of 5% of annual salary.

Life Assurance – 4 x your annual salary in the event of a death in service.

Social budget – creating opportunities for our people to connect in a social setting is a big priority for us. We provide an annual social budget which can be used for social events and team building activities.

Cycle to work scheme – purchase a bike from one of our partners through a salary sacrifice arrangement.

My gym discounts – exercise is great for your mental and physical health, and my gym discounts is good for your wallet! We offer a range of discounts for local gyms.

Help@Hand – a free help and wellbeing service for those times when some extra input is useful. We have loads of other resources for mental health and wellbeing.

In addition to our standard benefits package 30% of our colleagues are enrolled in an elected benefit provision.

For example, this includes things such as holiday training, denplan, childcare vouchers, give as you earn.

The bonus scheme works really well.  It rewards and recognises your contribution when you have gone over and above the norm.  It makes your time and effort worth it and shows it hasn’t gone unnoticed.
