Finalist in Property Week’s Student Accommodation Awards 2025

Over the past 12 months, the Student Accommodation team (comprising Real Estate, Construction, Planning, and Litigation experts) have delivered landmark instructions and deals across the full life cycle of purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA).

From site acquisition and planning through to development, delivery and occupation via direct lets, leases, and nomination agreements, the team provides strategic support and advice.

ESG considerations have been central to the team’s work, ensuring new PBSA schemes deliver affordable beds and community space in an environmentally friendly manner. Despite challenging market conditions, the team retained key clients, expanded its roster and reinforced its offering as a one-stop legal partner.

Property Week’s Student Accommodation Awards celebrate excellence in the purpose-built student accommodation sector. Now in its seventh year, the awards bring together leading developers, operators and advisers to recognise outstanding achievement. An independent panel of industry experts judges each category.

Award submission highlights include:

• Delivering landmark PBSA transactions and planning consents for schemes totalling over 7,000 beds.
• End-to-end lifecycle support on major projects including Kings Place (444 beds), Meridian Square (952 beds), Rushford Court (358 beds), Stour Road (205 beds) and Poland House Stratford (284 beds).
• ESG-driven solutions embedding affordable accommodation, community space and environmental sustainability.
• Construction and fire-safety expertise, from high-value recoveries and remedial works to complex new-build projects and joint-venture structuring.
• Regulatory compliance and litigation successes.
