Our Property Management team has a wealth of expertise acting for both management companies and property owners (both within the public and private sectors), preparing and negotiating a variety of contracts for the property management industry.

Our team regularly assists property owners with a wide variety of contracts to support their property management, including property management agreements, Proptech and Contech contracts, franchise agreements, facilities management, outsourced services and all commercial contracts required within the property management sector. Having a commercial and technology background with a focus on the property industry means we truly understand the backdrop and the operational imperatives of running an asset, whether in the PRS/BtR, student accommodation, hotel and leisure, co-working or social housing sectors.

Our team recognises that real estate assets are not just bricks and mortar – they are an investment. We understand that many real estate owners are seeking to diversify their offering and exploit their portfolio using alternative approaches to the traditional lease. The team acts for some of the UK’s largest players with experience spanning the spectrum of management arrangements including asset, property, facilities and hotel management. Our clients include developers (including the likes of Unite and Kier), social housing providers (including Anchor Hanover), various sports clubs (including Premier League clubs) and overseas investment funds (including government funds).

We understand your unique problems – whether it be sudden maintenance challenges due to COVID-19 or the introduction of the Building Safety Act – and that you need your legal advisers to help achieve solutions, not just identify problems. That approach is fundamental to our team. We work closely alongside our core real estate and construction teams to deliver a tailored service.

Our Property Management team frequently advises in respect of large-scale property developments, both in respect of one-off projects and multi-asset developments. Whether it be working with a supplier from bid-stage or assisting with the takeover from an incumbent, our aim is always to work closely with you, understand your appetite for risk, and ensure an optimal commercial outcome is achieved.
