Ryan is a Director in our Commercial, and Technology & Digital teams, and leads our Property Management team. He is best known for his extensive work in commercial and technology contracting arrangements for clients within the real estate, construction and telecoms industries. Ryan takes pride in unlocking revenue for his clients and provides strategic, commercial, and pragmatic advice.

Ryan’s typical clients include national housebuilders, PropTech/ConTech developers, major student accommodation providers, hotel groups, telecoms operators, and companies with property portfolios. He works closely with clients to understand their businesses and industries, and provides clear and concise advice to help them achieve their goals.

His strengths lie in his commercial knowledge and understanding of a client’s business and industry as well as being a tenacious negotiator. He is known for providing detailed advice and support to his clients and believes that “a collaborative approach is key to advancing and achieving business goals”.

The most challenging aspect of Ryan’s role is keeping up to date with the rapid developments in PropTech. However, he finds time each day to catch up on at least one interesting development, and believes that staying up to date is key to providing the best possible service to his clients.

Ryan’s working style is detail-oriented, collaborative, and down to earth. He brings his precise yet commercial approach to commercial contracts, and works closely with colleagues to ensure that clients receive the best possible advice and support.

Ryan has a background in e-commerce, but found that the negotiation and underpinning contracts were what interested him the most. He’s a member of the UK PropTech Association and the Society of Computers and Law, and a mentor to junior members of the firm.

Some of Ryan’s work highlights include secondments to ASDA, JET2, Sky UK and Lucozade Ribena Suntory. He handles business critical commercial and technology arrangements for clients covering bespoke technologies, telecoms infrastructure contracts, blockchain, AI, and data analytics tools.
