Jocelyne is an Associate in our Regulatory & Compliance team, specialising in financial crime, fraud, anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions, and export control, as well as data protection, privacy, and cybercrime. With expertise in FCA regulation and both EU and UK GDPR, she helps clients navigate complex regulatory scenes with confidence.

Her work spans advising clients on niche regulatory queries, drafting and reviewing policies, responding to data breaches and subject access requests, and conducting due diligence for corporate transactions.

A naturally people-oriented professional, Jocelyne takes a collaborative and client-centric approach to her work. She is dedicated to balancing client expectations with the legal landscape and delivering practical advice in response to client needs.

Jocelyne is also the Junior Lawyer’s Representative for the Yorkshire Pro Bono Committee and has been recognised on the 2025 pro bono Recognition List, as a lawyer who undertook 25 hours or more legal pro bono over the last year.

Sturgeon Ventures LLP – Jocelyne conducted a proposal review, advising on how the client’s underlying client could structure their website to market an unregulated collective investment scheme to potential investors. She also provided guidance on key considerations, such as restrictions on incentives being included with financial promotions, and the inclusion of relevant risk warnings.
