Walker Morris is delighted to announce that it will be supporting the upcoming Leeds Digital Festival 2021 as an associate sponsor. The festival is an open, collaborative programme of events that celebrates digital culture in all its forms over a two-week period each year. This year’s festival – taking place from 20th September to 1st October – marks the first time that Walker Morris have been involved.
Since its inception 2016, the festival has expanded year on year and its programme in 2020 saw 428 events and over 45,000 attendees, becoming the largest tech event in the UK. The festival now promises to offer something to anyone with an interest in technology, with talks and interactive sessions on topics including Fintech, coding, social media, AI, Healthtech, data, start-ups, digital music, cyber security and augmented / virtual reality.
The sponsorship underlines Walker Morris’ as part of the technology landscape in Leeds, a city that is considered to have the fastest growing digital economy outside of London. It will also place the firm alongside an illustrious list of fellow sponsors, including clients of the firm.
The Technology & Digital Group will soon be announcing details of the event it will be holding as part of the programme. In the meantime, look out for the Walker Morris logo on festival posters around the streets of Leeds!
