Walker Morris' Sports Team advises on the sale of Hartlepool Football Club

The Club has been purchased by a consortium headed by local businessman, Raj Singh.

The deal follows a number of recent successful football club sales for the Walker Morris Team.

John Blackledge, director of Sage Investments Limited, said:

“Hartlepool is a fantastic club with fantastic fans. Now that Raj Singh has control of the Club, the Club can now focus on the season ahead and ensuring that the Club has the best chance of getting back into the Football League.”

I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude to the team at Walker Morris who have again shown that they are one of the country’s finest sport law specialists, working tirelessly since the Christmas period to ensure that this wonderful football club survives.

Head of the Walker Morris Sports Team, David Hinchliffe said:

“It is always fantastic to see a football club survive. Nobody wants to see any team enter an administration, so to be able to help Hartlepool was great. I would also like to echo John’s words and wish the club the best of luck for next season.”
