Walker Morris enters 16th year of Christmas Gift Appeal with KidsOutPrint news article
Walker Morris employees have continued to spread festive cheer with a 16th consecutive year participating in the law firm’s Christmas Gift Appeal. Since 2003, Walker Morris employees are asked to donate toys to a nominated charity and this year saw a record-breaking haul of donated gifts to national children’s charity, KidsOut.
This year, Walker Morris employees donated over 170 toys and gifts including £450 in donations, excelling last year’s record-equalling total of over 150 gifts.
KidsOut provides fun and positive experiences to disadvantaged children across the UK through days out and donations. The partnership between KidsOut and Walker Morris acts as part of the charity’s Giving Tree initiative wherein many recipients of donations are children who have escaped problems of domestic violence.
Louise Power, Partner at Walker Morris and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility said:
“It is a pleasure to continue our ongoing partnership with KidsOut this Christmas. The festive period can be a trying time for families, children and young people. The overwhelmingly positive response from the employees of Walker Morris in response to KidsOut’s Giving Tree initiative will go a long way in providing some festive cheer on Christmas Day.”
