Walker Morris continues to invest in specialist expertise with annual promotions

Investment in talent with 12 senior promotions across the Firm

Walker Morris has announced 12 senior level promotions as part of its continuing investment in high quality, specialist expertise. The internal promotions comprise 2 partners and 10 directors from a number of practice areas across the Firm.

The recent promotions, which take effect from 1 May, demonstrate Walker Morris’ commitment to investing in talented individuals and reinforcing its senior level employees. Paul Hargreaves has been appointed as partner in the Construction Group.

The new directors provide strength in depth across of a number of practice areas and include:

  • Oliver Duke – Corporate
  • Thomas Mieszkowski – Corporate
  • Owen Ormond – Banking, Restructuring & Insolvency
  • Alan Harper – Intellectual Property
  • Adam Reed – Real Estate
  • Rebecca Calland – Banking Litigation
  • Kate Hicks – Banking Litigation
  • Sandip Singh – Banking Litigation
  • Nicola Parkinson – Tax

The recent promotions follow on from the key senior lateral hires at the end of 2017 comprising: corporate investigations and prosecutions specialist, Stuart Ponting. The firm also announced the appointment of Malcolm Simpson as Managing Partner with effect from 1 May.
