Walker Morris has taken on 18 trainees in September, equalling its highest graduate trainee intake in the last five years. These latest appointments are part of its continued investment in the future talent of the Firm.
Walker Morris currently has 32 first and second year trainees spread across many of its key departments. Over the last few years the Firm has invested heavily in its training programme, providing trainees with a wide variety of exposure to different areas of law, departments and people, ensuring long-term career prospects.
Walker Morris continues its investment in future talent and has been recognised as a top graduate and apprentice employer as part of The Job Crowd’s 2018/19 Top Company Guides. The Firm has been ranked 13th in the Top 50 Companies for Apprentices to work for and 38th in the Top 100 Companies for Graduates to work for.
Walker Morris has also been ranked second in the UK for career development in the 2018 RollonFriday annual survey.
The Firm also appointed 15 newly qualified solicitors last month, including three external appointments from national firms, one of the largest graduate intakes of law firms in Leeds. The 15 appointed solicitors will be taking up positions in a number of departments across the Firm including Employment, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Tax, Corporate, Real Estate and Construction.
