Finalists in the Yorkshire Legal Awards 2025

We’re delighted to announce that three of our teams have been named as finalists in the Yorkshire Legal Awards 2025, following their outstanding achievements over the past 12 months.
Our Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property Trade Marks & Designs, and Real Estate teams have all been recognised for their industry-leading achievements in their areas.
Now in its 26th year, the Yorkshire Legal Awards bring together the region’s legal community to recognise and celebrate its many achievements.
The award categories cover everyone from the biggest corporate firms to leading barristers and senior partners to rising stars. The awards are judged by an independent panel of experts from across the Yorkshire legal community.
In their award submissions, our teams demonstrated the capabilities, commitment and calibre of the client work they delivered, highlighted how innovation is weaved into the delivery of legal services and how they’ve made a positive impact on the community.
The announcement has seen us named as finalists in the following practice areas:

Through mandates such as managing Ferrero’s UK trademark portfolio, securing Leeds United’s global IP mandate and advising Premier League and Championship clubs on fast-moving brand challenges, and prevailing in Welspun’s high-profile opposition against the ‘Wagatha Christie’ mark.
Commercial Property – Our market-leading team delivers commercially focused solutions under tight deadlines to safeguard client objectives and maximise transaction value. Advising on sector-defining deals such as Advent International’s £2.7 billion Evri sale, Unite Students’ £200 million Stratford acquisition and Persimmon’s nine-site, £100 million homebuilding programme.
