Corporate lawyers advise on acquisition of Ecological Survey & Assessment (ECOSA)

Corporate lawyers at Walker Morris have advised US-based international environmental, health, and safety consulting firm Trinity Consultants Inc. on its acquisition of Ecological Survey & Assessment Limited (ECOSA).

Founded in 1999 and based in Hampshire and Gloucestershire, ECOSA works with clients to comply with ecology regulations, secure necessary consents, obtain protected species licenses, and implement ecological compensation and enhancement measures required as part of the planning process.

The business’ ecologists are licensed to address the needs of protected species including bats, hazel dormouse, and great crested newt. Clients include architects, housing developers, construction companies, education providers, conservation organisations, private home owners, and planning authorities.

Corporate partner Richard Naish led the Walker Morris team with support from Simon Cuerden (Director).

Trinity Managing Director Mike Remsberg will oversee integration of ECOSA with Trinity. He noted,

“We are excited about the specialty expertise that ECOSA brings to our organisation and the excellent team that Simon has assembled. Their knowledge supplements our growing ecology business and broader environmental services.”
