Burnley FC announces new sponsorship deal with Fitlion

Sports lawyers at Walker Morris advise on another Premier League sponsorship deal

Sports lawyers at Walker Morris have advised Burnley FC on its sponsorship deal with Fitlion – one of the fastest growing homegrown brands in the fitness, wellness and health industry.

This latest sponsorship deal will see Fitlion become the Official Nutrition Partner of Burnley FC to help their players achieve their rigorous fitness and nutritional goals.

The deal follows Burnley FC’s shirt sponsorship deal in July with LaBa360 – the biggest sponsorship deal in the Club’s history, on which the Walker Morris team also advised. The latest deal adds to the growing number of Premier League sponsorship agreements the Walker Morris Sports Team has completed this year.

“We are pleased to begin a new relationship with Fitlion,” said Sean Dyche, Burnley FC Team Manager. “High-quality nutrition has a big part to play in allowing the players to be the best they can for every game whether it be for health, recovery or performance.

“Teaming up with Fitlion as our official nutrition partner will give us the opportunity to continue to add the necessary quality and detail in this very important area and we are looking forward to working with them and progressing together over the next few years.”

Anthony Fairclough, Commercial Director at Burnley Football Club, added:

“We are proud and delighted to welcome Fitlion on board. Once again, we appreciate all the legal support that the Walker Morris Sports Team added throughout the process through their deep sector expertise and commercial experience. Their 24/7 mentality and unswerving commitment to achieve the best results for the football club really adds value to the whole process.”

Walker Morris commented:

“We’re proud to have advised the Club on this latest sponsorship deal. We’ve successfully worked with Burnley FC for several years on a variety of issues including their record-breaking shirt sponsorship deal with LaBa360 and a number of transfers and players’ contracts as well as the contract for the reappointment of manager Sean Dyche in 2016.

“Burnley enjoyed a great 2017/18 season finishing 7th in the Premier League and qualifying for the UEFA Europa League. We are proud to work alongside such a great Club, team, management and fans.”

Fitlion Marketing Director Lynda Lee commented: “This milestone collaboration marks Fitlion’s official entry into the international fitness and health retail scene, with our international delivery options now activated to meet the demands of customers in Europe and the rest of the world.”
