Joel is an Associate in our Corporate team, he mainly focuses on M&A and private equity transactions, including cross border work across various sectors. Before qualifying, Joel previously worked in contract management on a multi-billion-pound energy project, giving him valuable commercial insight into large-scale transactions.

Joel regularly supports private equity firms, institutional investors, and management teams from a wide range of sectors on acquisitions, disposals, and investment structuring.

Deals:

1. Joel advised a French private equity-backed consolidator on its acquisition of a UK based manufacturing business, and assisted with due diligence, transaction structuring, and negotiation of key investment documents.
2. Joel acted for a US based Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary on its cross-border UK acquisitions, where he supported with the drafting of transaction documentation and due diligence.
3. Joel supported private equity firm Endless LLP on its sale of Hovis to Associated British Foods plc. He managed the disclosure process, liaised with key stakeholders, and assisted with the negotiation of principal transaction documents.
