Ban on employment agencies advertising vacancies exclusively in other EEA countries

Since 31 December 2014, it is no longer lawful for employment agencies and employment businesses to advertise vacancies for jobs based in Great Britain exclusively in other EEA countries. The ban only applies to employment agencies and employment businesses operating in Great Britain and therefore does not prevent employers based in Great Britain from using agencies based in other EEA countries to advertise jobs in Great Britain or from advertising those roles directly themselves exclusively in other EEA countries.
