Alert: CMA guidance on unfair contract terms

Print publication

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has recently published further guidance to help businesses ensure that their contract terms and notices are fair and clear for consumers, following on from the introduction of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Various “at-a-glance” guides provide an overview of what businesses should be aware of when writing terms and explain how to recognise the types of terms that may be unfair.

The CMA guidance can be accessed here.
