Richard advises clients on commercial agreements in the public and private sectors including in relation to the energy, infrastructure, utilities, retail, healthcare and leisure sectors.
Prior to joining Walker Morris, Richard worked in the Government Legal Service at the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) where he advised on a number of high profile cases. Richard trained and qualified at a leading international law firm in London and Washington DC and has also previously taught contract law at the University of Leeds.
Richard is noted in the Legal 500 for his experience in high profile CMA investigations and expertise in abuse of dominance issues and also advises clients on competition law issues including CMA investigations and merger control. Richard also advises clients on procurement and state aid law.
