Ian trained in the City and has focussed on banking and corporate finance for over 30 years, throughout his career. He has a wealth of experience in acting for banks and borrowers on all aspects of funding including acquisition finance, real estate finance, take privates, development finance, structured and property finance, PFI, joint venture and general corporate borrowing. His experience in corporate finance is an added benefit in contributing to his understanding how the banking element of a transaction fits with the wider overall corporate deal.
He is recommended in Legal 500, Chambers and Best Lawyers as a leading individual in his field and is one of three partners in the banking and finance group at Walker Morris dedicated to transactional banking work. This work involves advising on all types of corporate funding from major development or property finance projects through the funding of corporate transactions to complex group financings.
