“We are delighted to be launching our 22nd Calendar Competition and we are eagerly anticipating the entries. It never fails to amaze me just how creative and inspiring the paintings are This explains the longevity of the competition and also serves as a reminder of how important it is to foster and nurture the talents of our future generation. Whether they are aspiring lawyers or artists, we recognise that our future success depends upon developing and engaging our future workforce.”
Ashley Jackson said:
“Walker Morris has been a tremendous supporter of the arts in this country for many years and I am delighted to be continuing my long term association as a judge for their Calendar Competition. It is a connection I value highly and one which, I believe, over twenty years has continued to support creativity and the arts within the junior schools. It is particularly important, given the difficult economic times we are experiencing, that business sustains support for the arts so that the next generation of artists, creators, and entrepreneurs are given equal value in an academic environment. I look forward to being able to view a wealth of colour, talent and subject matter as seen through their eyes.”
