Walker Morris supports Leeds Legal Walk for JusticePrint news article
Walker Morris will be joining the Leeds Law Society to walk in support of the PSU Leeds (Personal Support Unit) in the Legal Walk for Justice on 13 June 2016 and helping them to raise £3,000.
The PSU helps people who are facing civil court proceedings without legal representation. Their trained volunteers provide independent assistance for free.
The annual Legal Walk for Justice event will be taking place on Monday, 13 June at 5pm and will start at the Leeds Combined Court Centre. Sponsorship raised by participants on the 10km walk will help to secure vital funds for this important cause.
Sue Harris, director at Walker Morris and President of the Leeds Law Society commented:
“The PSU performs a vital role in providing much needed free independent legal advice from trained advisers to those who are vulnerable and in need of legal representation. The need for free legal advice centres has grown in the past few years at a time when funding for the advice centres themselves has reduced”.
Registration will be open between 5.00pm and 5.30pm, for further information please visit the Leeds Law Society Website here:
