Walker Morris predicts a busy year as it retains 13 newly qualified traineesPrint news article
Walker Morris has retained 13 newly qualified solicitors this month as it plans for growth across the Firm.
The newly qualified solicitors will be taking up positions in the Firm across a spread of all the main departments including: Finance, Real Estate, Litigation, Corporate and Regulatory.
Over the last few years, Walker Morris has continued to invest in its trainee programme and now has 29 first and second year trainees. Half of the trainees recruited each year come from the Firm’s successful vacation placement scheme. The investment is rewarded in the positive feedback Walker Morris receives in www.ratemyplacement.co.uk where the firm is rated as a Top 100 Employer.
Graduate Recruitment & Trainee Partner at Walker Morris, Duncan Lole said today:
“We are delighted that 13 second year trainees have been retained by the Firm following their qualification. All of our newly qualified solicitors have demonstrated that they can meet the high standards of work expected by the Firm, and are well positioned to support the Firm in what we predict is going to be a busy period of growth across a number of our specialist areas as we continue to provide our national clients with the value of a Leeds base.”
