Walker Morris celebrates award-winning Banking Litigation TeamPrint news article
The Banking Litigation Team at law firm Walker Morris has been named as ‘Law Firm of the Year’ by Mortgage Finance Gazette, in recognition of its investment in its specialist legal expertise.
The prestigious awards, which reward achievements within the industry, reflect the Team’s expertise in complex recovery cases, mortgage fraud and professional negligence and the fact that the Team serves a nationwide client base covering all types of financial institutions from large high street banks to small niche lenders.
The Team has grown significantly during the last few years, to become one of the largest and most experienced practices in England and Wales with over 75 solicitors and fee earners.
The Team has developed a number of solutions for its lender clients to streamline processes, reduce evictions and increase lender security. Notably what stands the Team apart is its reputation for helping lenders with sensitive matters.
Head of Banking Litigation at Walker Morris, Andrew Beck, said:
“We are really delighted with the Award which recognises our efforts to develop market-leading legal solutions tailored to the mortgage industry. In line with the strategy of the wider firm, we have invested time and resources in developing specialist expertise to provide our clients with a complete service. Our ability to resolve complex, sensitive and high profile matters has earned us national recognition.
“But this is a people business. It’s about true teamwork and this award is testament to the hard work of all the Team. I would like to take the opportunity to thank them as well as our clients.”
