A multi-disciplinary team at Walker Morris have advised Halifax-based company Polyframe Holdings Limited and Martyn Buckley on the sale of Polyframe.
Polyframe are the UK’s largest independent manufacturer and distributor of trade windows and doors with a group turnover exceeding £50m. Established in 1992, the company operates four manufacturing facilities producing windows and composite doors for the installer as well as twelve trade centres that distribute its products.
The MBO was backed by specialist investment firm Cairngorm Capital and was the first equity investment from its debut fund Cairngorm Capital Partners I, L.P. Polyframe’s chief executive, Ian Macdougal led the MBO and was supported by fellow Polyframe Directors Jeremy Scott, Peter Dyson, David Eagle and Nick Summers.
Leading the Walker Morris team was Corporate Partner, Debbie Jackson, with support from an expert team, including James Crellin in Finance and Jeanette Burgess in Regulatory.
Martyn Buckley, founder of Polyframe, commented:
