Walker Morris advises Evans Management on £175 million refinance

Finance & Real Estate lawyers at Walker Morris have advised Evans Management on a funding deal worth £175million to assist with investment and acquisition opportunities.

The business, which is owned by Evans Property Group, agreed the refinancing package with The Royal Bank of Scotland and Barclays Bank who provided £125 million and £50 million respectively.

Based in Leeds and London the company is a long-established private property investor and developer.  The Group’s current investments include 1 Park Row in Leeds and the White Rose Shopping Centre. The funding will allow it to continue with its refurbishment projects in Leeds and extend its investments in the Forest Dean and Sherwood Forest as well as the purchase of a Dakota Hotel in Glasgow.
