Planning Lawyers advise on successful appeal for Persimmon Homes

Planning & Environment specialists from Walker Morris have secured planning permission for Persimmon Homes’ latest residential development in Garforth, Leeds.

Persimmon Homes appealed against Leeds City Council’s decision and were granted planning permission for the development of 290 homes as well as the demolition of an existing dwelling on the site.

The scheme will provide 15% affordable housing as well as public open space and contributions to the improvements to local infrastructure including bus stops and local walkways that the wider community are able to make use of.

Richard Sagar, Partner in the Planning & Environment Team at Walker Morris, acted as an advocate for Persimmon Homes. Robert Moore, Director, provided legal and specialist strategic advice.
